Protect your institution's reputation during the holidays by actively monitoring the web

It is mind boggling to consider the amount of data available on the Internet. On an average day Internet users conduct more than 60,000 Google searches per second, while billions of people upload data–photos, videos, comments–to Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Google+, Instagram, Pinterest and LinkedIn. 

At this time of year when online searching and shopping abound, the amount of Internet data becomes even more staggering, as do the opportunities for cyber criminals.

Customers expect lightning-fast responses on social media, especially during the hustle and bustle of the season. You probably already monitor the web for mentions of your institution to some degree; however, setting up Google Alerts is not enough. There are so many other areas on the web where your brand could appear: social media, blogs, review sites, etc. You must have an all-encompassing resource for collecting data associated with your financial institution—a solution that finds online references to your institution and delivers them to you in real time, so you can decide what to do next in that moment, not when it is too late.
